Phil Boyd Memorial Park is newly renovated and located at the center of Mt. Vernon.  New playground equipment includes a zipline, a tennis court, a basketball court, horse shoe pits, an ADA accessible bathroom and a large open space.

Mt. Vernon Summer Lunch Program

Lunches will be provided Monday-Thursday at 12:00 pm for kids up to age 18 at the Mt. Vernon City Park.  We are starting with 25 lunches and will continue to add if there is more need.  This will be first come – first serve.  We are hoping to continue the program until school starts but depends on our funding.
